WAX MOTHS are an experimental electronic duo based in Los Angeles. Their sound is a mixture of ambient textures, non-sequitur melodic phrasings and deconstructed harmonies that walk the line between functional and non-functional. Their EP explores musical methods rooted in stream of conscious automatism often with no intended goal but rather the aim of pure motion. Layered elements become polarized as songs build to an open end where washed out synths converge with acoustic guitar loops, computer glitches and sparse percussion. Although ostensibly aimless, Their music provides an escape from conventionality in which boundaries coalesce into an experimental collage.

WAX MOTHS is a collaboration between producers, Bu.re_ & Yourself In Peace (August Corral & wave Groove). The album is released through Beat Cinema.
